Photography

Yes, like many other crafty women out there I am also a photographer. My love for photography began at a very early age, thanks in part to my Aunt Karel. She would always take the best pictures and put them into scrapbooks for the family. I can remember sitting and flipping through the pages for hours. She started doing this before I was even born, so of course all the kids were documented very well.

I spent some time each summer with my Aunt. I watched her put the books together sometimes and her love for preserving memories, feelings really is what really drew me in. When my parents divorced and I missed my dad she put together a wonderful set of pictures for me, along with some very kind and helpful words. I will never forget the sense of security and love I felt just at looking at that precious photo frame.

With my own child now my love for preserving memories through pictures, journals and books grew. I started with a general use camera and the first pictures of my daughter were taken by me. I remember going to walmart to develop them, camera in my purse, and being asked for a copyright release. I explained that I didn't have one and was told that I could not print my pictures. I remember the look on the lady's face when I asked why not that they were my pictures and I had taken them myself. I then showed her the viewer on my camera and 360+ pictures. Needless to say I got them printed. That was the first time I was asked for a release for my own pictures, I have been asked many times since then, and I never mind it!

I now take pictures for other families wanting to preserve memories! You can follow my work here and also on Facebook, jlynne Photography, please like and follow my page, oh and share it too! I'm available for shots in the CSRA area, I can come to you or we can go someplace outside. I do not currently have a studio but can do infant/baby shots up to about 1 yr old at my house. My daughters bedroom get the best natural lighting!

Below are some pictures from a recent shoot I did of a 9 month old in a tutu that I also made!!! Yep that's me, Crafty Mama!!!
